Pepper is a 14-year old terrier mix that was turned in by his owners because they couldn’t take him along after a job transfer. He’s got lots of energy and doesn’t seem to know that he is a senior dog. He always keeps his tail up and shows his loving personality. His good looks speak for itself.
Here are some things you should know about Pepper:
- He is housebroken.
- He loves to go for walks.
- One of his favorite pastimes is to hang out with the volunteers.
- He gets along with other dogs.
- He is good with kids.
- He is great walking on leash.
- He enjoys car rides.
Don’t worry about adopting this older dog. Since he has been at the shelter, he’s been to see a private vet for his senior wellness check-up. He had a small growth removed and his dental needs were attended to.
Older dogs need love, too, and they can transform your life in ways that you can’t imagine. They are one in a million and give a special kind of devotion to their owners. They have boundless love to give and have learned to roll with life’s ups and downs.
If you believe in second chances and are ready to bring a loving bundle of energy into your home, ask to meet Pepper today. He is ready to go to his forever home right now.
