Warner, a male Chihuahua mix, is approximately two years old. His past is unknown because he was found wandering the streets and was brought to the shelter as a stray. No one came to claim him so he is now available for adoption.
He is doing well at the shelter, getting his daily walks and time in one of the play yards, but the shelter environment, no matter how enriching, is nothing like a forever home.
Here are some things you should know about him:
- He really seems to enjoy going for walks.
- He has perfected the term “lap dog,” because that is where you will find him whenever someone has the time to sit with him.
- He gets along with the other dogs he has been housed with.
- He might be housebroken, because he waits to go potty until he is taken out of his kennel in the morning.
Choosing Warner should be a no-brainer if you are looking for a young, small dog. Ask to meet him today at the Agoura Shelter in kennel #9.
To adopt Warner, request A4694219. The Agoura Shelter is at 29525 Agoura Road, Agoura Hills. Occasionally pets have already been adopted. To check availability, call 818-991-0071 or visit http://animalcare.lacounty.gov
