Countertops, faucets, cabinetry, pulls and lighting are all ways to update your look. Although we like to think we will be in our home for many years, updates to the kitchen can help your home sell quickly and for more when you do need to sell. A lot has changed in the last 15 years in countertop offerings. The color and edge choice used to be the big dilemma. Now we also have several surface choices. To add interest and a custom look, consider choosing coordinating (instead of matching) materials for your counter, island counter and backsplash. This beautiful home at 30509 Sandtrap Drive in Agoura Hills (above) has done just that. The homeowners incorporated a beautiful speckled granite with a tiled backsplash.
