The Triunfo YMCA, serving Westlake Village, Oak Park and Agoura Hills, is registering students in kindergarten through fifth grade for before and after school childcare programs at four area schools for the 2015-16 school year.
The Triunfo YMCA offers childcare at Yerba Buena Elementary, Sumac Elementary and Willow Elementary in Agoura Hills and White Oak Elementary in Westlake Village. A Kinder Club childcare program is specially designed for kindergarteners.
“The YMCA is known for providing high quality, family-centered, values-based childcare in a safe and healthy environment,” says Chrissy Withers, Triunfo Y’s lead program director. “Kids make new friends, acquire new skills and have time for homework. All participate in supervised play.”
Before and after school childcare is available on all school days, pupil-free days and minimum days. Camp programs are held during Thanksgiving, winter and spring breaks and any school furlough days. Children can attend full time or part time with flexible time slots available.
Morning childcare begins at 6:30 a.m. and includes breakfast. After-school childcare ends at 6 p.m. and includes snacks. Transportation will be provided to the YMCA childcare sites from other surrounding schools if enough kids from each school participate.
