Music in Motion at the Agoura Hills Library: Classes are held every Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the Agoura Hills Library.

‘Faces of Hope’ Celebration of Life Gala: The Cancer Support Community Valley/Ventura/Santa Barbara (CscVvsb) will hold its annual “Faces of Hope” Celebration of Life Gala on Friday, May 1 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Westlake Village from 6 p.m. until midnight.

‘Pippin’ at the Agoura High PAEC: Pippin, the mystical musical about a young man seeking significance and meaning to his life, is being presented this month at the Agoura Hills Performing Arts Education Center. The production runs April 28-May 2. To purchase tickets for evening and matinee performances, go to www.thepaecs.org.



Community Service Days 2015: The City of Agoura Hills is pleased to announce the second annual “Community Service Days.” The event will be held on Saturday, May 2nd, from 8 a.m. to approximately 1 p.m. Participants are asked to come to Chumash Park to sign-in and pick up their free t-shirt before being sent out to various project sites.

National Park Service Hosts ‘Spring Migration Through the Lens’: Rangers will be on hand at the Santa Monica Mountains Interagency Visitor Center located at King Gillette Ranch, from 8:30-10 a.m., giving tips on how to camera-capture the excitement of many birds that will pass through the area.

Native Wildflowers, Landscape Exhibit and Sale: The sale will run through May 24.

18th Annual Calabasas Fine Arts Festival Returns: Head over to Calabasas Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3 for the 18th Annual Calabasas Fine Arts Festival! The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Civic Center and Commons.

Fairy Tales in the Park: This is a series of free, live theatrical performances geared towards children ages 3 to 10.

Pinewood Derby Race at Janss Marketplace: The Pinewood Derby will be held on a race course on the grassy area near the interactive fountain and entrance to Burlington at Janss Marketplace, located off the Moorpark exit on the 101 Freeway at the intersection of Moorpark Road and Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks.

Westlake Village Library Presents ComiCon for Teens: Teens ages 12-17 are invited to Westlake Village Library’s first ever ComiCon on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 1-4 p.m. This fun day of comic book and fandom activities will include a class on drawing superhero and manga style comics from 2:30-3:30 p.m. and cosplay contest at 3:30 p.m. with prizes for best original, best true-to-character, best group costume, and best mask (made that day at the ComiCon).



18th Annual Calabasas Fine Arts Festival Returns: Join us on Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3 for the 18th Annual Calabasas Fine Arts Festival! The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Civic Center and Commons in Calabasas.

Scandinavian Spring Picnic at Vasa Park Agoura Hills: Enjoy a fun day outdoors enjoying activities and Scandinavian cuisine.
