Weekend Guide: Reyes Adobe Days, Harvest Fall Festival and Moorpark Country Days

Friday

Night at the Adobe: Night at the Adobe is a casually elegant evening to kick off the weekend-long Reyes Adobe Days.

Saturday

RAD Runs: Celebrate the Reyes Adobe Days by running this one of a kind course featuring historic and scenic views of the Santa Monica Mountains and Agoura Hills.

Rides and Rods: The day begins at 7:30 a.m. with a “Poker Run” for cars and motorcycles that will wind its way through the Conejo Valley. It will be followed, from 11:00 a.m. to 6 p.m., by a motorcycle and car show, live music, vendors and food trucks at the Thousand Oaks Inn parking lot.

Fall Harvest Festival at Underwood Farms: Farm Country Weekend is complete with country and bluegrass music and a live-remote visit from local station KHAY.

Moorpark Country Days Parade and Street Fair: Country Days is a time-honored tradition that begins with the cheers and waves of hundreds of families and friends as the parade makes its way along Historic High Street. Immediately following the parade is a good old fashion street fair featuring local vendors, crafts, entertainment, a children’s village and more fun!

Reyes Adobe Days Parade: The parade, which begins at 10 a.m., starts at the intersection of Reyes Adobe Road and Lake Lindero Road and ends at the Reyes Adobe Historical Site & Park.

Astronomy Day at Thousand Oaks Library: Celebrate International Astronomy Day with the Ventura County Astronomical Society.

Reyes Adobe Days’ Day at the Adobe Weekend: Day at the Adobe returns with the popular Kid’s Corral with wildlife exhibits, pony rides, petting zoo and train depot. New rancho themed “Native California” activities include making state flags and flowers, as well as corn grinding, laundry station, old-fashioned games, and arts & crafts.

 

Sunday

Westlake High School Instrumental Music Food Truck Festival: Westlake High School Instrumental Music Boosters presents its annual Food Truck Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Conejo Creek Park North, adjacent to the Thousand Oaks Library.

Valley Cats Adoption Center Grand Opening in Westlake Village: Grand opening of Valley Cats Adoption Center includes tour, food trucks and live auction.
