Walk MS Conejo Valley at Conejo Creek Park in Thousand Oaks: Join the movement at Walk MS to bring us one step closer toward a world free of MS! Come and celebrate with hundreds of fellow friends, co-workers and family members who that, like you want to stop MS in its tracks. There will be fun for the whole family as you enjoy a beautiful 5K or 1K walk, roll or stroll around the Conejo Creek Park in Thousand Oaks on Saturday April 11th. Event starts at 10 a.m.
Westlake Rotary Community Street Festival: The Rotary Club of Westlake Village invites you to its annual Community Street Festival on Sunday, April 12, 2015 a.t 4600 Lakeview Canyon Road (intersection of Agoura Road) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
17th Ch:umash Day Powwow and Intertribal Gathering in Malibu: Native American food, craft vendors, tribal ceremonies and dances will be a part of the event on both days. Grand Entry or Opening Ceremonies will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday and 12 p.m. on Sunday.
Celebrate Earth Day in Calabasas: The City of Calabasas Earth Day Celebration/Green Expo will take place from 2-5 p.m. at the Las Virgenes Creek site on Agoura Road (behind the Starbucks at 26531 Agoura Road) in Calabasas. Over fifty exhibitors from all over Los Angeles County will be participating in the event.
‘The “Diamond American Music Fest–’Fighting Cancer With Music’: Enjoy a day of music, entertainment and refreshments! Six bands will perform Country, Bluegrass, Blues, Rock and Folk music. For kids: arts and crafts, games and prizes, pet the ranch animals, learn to rope and pitch horseshoes, face & nail painting. Refreshments include food trucks and a variety of snacks. Proceeds go to the Jennifer Diamond Cancer Foundation.
3rd Annual Walk to End Genocide in Thousand Oaks: Visit the Global Village Festival before and after the walk, for information and advocacy booths on Darfur, Sudan, Congo and other human rights abuses, conflict minerals campaign and other advocacy opportunities, solar cooker demonstrations, crafts, merchandise, food, music and more.
