Friday

‘Bring It To The Mat’ Yoga Class Fundraiser for Kids in Need:Bring It To the Mat is a fundraising event planned at the Oak Park Community Center (1000 N. Kanan Road), an evening of yoga food and community in honor of Support for the Kids. The event is presented by lululemon athletica and Lainie Devina.

The Carnival For Las Virgenes Schools: The hours of operation are Friday 6-11 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 12-11 p.m. Buy early and save. The pre-sale price for One-Day Wristbands, good for unlimited rides on Saturday or Sunday from 12-11 p.m., is $45 (save $5) and the pre-sale price for 20 Ride Tickets is $15 (save $5). Pre-sale ticket deals are available at TheFoundationLVS.org.

Big Jamboree Benefit in Thousand Oaks:Pull up your cowboy boots and come join us for a night of dancing, music, contests, prizes, and more on Friday, September 11th at Borderline Bar & Grill for the Big Jamboree, a benefit for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County!

 

 

Saturday

Ventura Art & Street Painting Festival: The Ventura Art & Street Painting Festival will take place Sept. 12-13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ventura Harbor Village, 1583 Spinnaker Dr., Ventura. This waterfront juried art festival features more than 40 fine artists and artisans on the Ventura Harbor Village main lawn, as well as over 50 street chalk artists creating colorful murals along the Village promenade overlooking the boats. Proceeds from the festival benefit FOOD Share.

Brandon’s Buddies Free Kids Club for Special Needs Kids in Calabasas: Brandon’s Buddies is a FREE KIDS CLUB that meets every month at Brandon’s Village at Gates Canyon Park in Calabasas. This playground is the first fully-accessible playground in the region. The day may include Integrated Play, Face Painting, Arts & Crafts, Entertainment and Treats. Please feel free to bring a sack lunch.

The Carnival For Las Virgenes Schools: The Foundation for Las Virgenes Schools is once again hosting their Back to School Carnival next month in Agoura Hills, bringing three days of family fun and entertainment to the community. The event will take place at Whizin Market Square (28914 Roadside Drive) September 11-13.

Screen ‘Sullivan’s Travels’ at Paramount Ranch: This month’s Movies by Moonlight features “Sullivan’s Travels” at Paramount Ranch from 7:30-9:30 p.m.

The Magic of Seth Grabel at the Canyon Club: The Seth Grabel’s achievement as a celebrated performer, magician and illusionist

17th Annual The Wild Brunch Celebration Benefit: The California Wildlife Center’s 17th Annual “The Wild Brunch” event is planned for Sunday, September 13th from 1204:30 p.m. at Gull’s Way Estate, 26800 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu.

Free Concert at Peter Strauss Ranch: The final concert of the summer features Art Rocks and Open Mic Session.
