‘STEM-tastic!’ at Cal Lutheran: The public is invited to the presentation, which will include speakers from area universities, PK-12 education, businesses, non-profits and others who will speak about ways to promote and enhance STEM education from pre-school through the topmost rung of higher education.

Teen Haunted Maze and Movie Night in Malibu: A frightful night of haunts will take over Malibu Bluffs Park, 24250 Pacific Coast Highway, at the Youth Commission’s 7th Annual Haunted Maze and Movie Night on Friday, October 21st from 5-9 p.m.

St. Paschal Baylon Church Fall Fest: There will be rides, carnival games, concessions, sweets, performances, wine and cheese tasting, live jazz, auction, car raffle and much more!

‘The Merry Wives of Windsor’ at Oak Park High School: Director Allan Hunt is recreating his award-winning production of “Merry Wives” from the Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival here with the OPHS Performing Arts Program.

Saturday

Pants Off Racing’s Almost 10K/5K Again for Pancreatic Cancer: Pants Off Racing’s mission is to provide service to those lives affected by pancreatic cancer through time, energy, and goodwill; to integrate and unite generations, through sport participation, while creating public awareness about pancreatic cancer.

Fall Harvest Festival at Underwood Farms: Western Weekend

Tumbleweed Wild Wild West Festival in Simi Valley: Guests of all ages are invited to come step back in time to enjoy the sights, sounds, food, beverages, merchants, entertainment and famous frontier folk one could experience in the early days of the wild and exciting new frontier.

Halloween Spook-Tacular Family Fun Day at Simi Valley Library: Games, crafts and special storytime. Meet and mingle with favorite storybook characters.

Pumpkin Party at Leonis Museum: Enjoy Halloween crafts and pumpkins, interactive kids music by Craig Newton, and feed the ranch animals.
