Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K Walk in Thousand Oaks: Making Strides is a noncompetitive 5K walk supporting the American Cancer Society’s unique mission to help people stay well by preventing cancer or detecting it early.

7th Annual Living Green Expo at Simi Valley Town Center: The City of Simi Valley will present its 7th Annual Living Green Expo at the Simi Valley Town Center on Saturday, September 24, 2016, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Farm to Lunchbox Fest at Underwood Family Farms: The event will include a create-your-own Real Food lunchbox station, a unique “play-with-your-food” area, and samples of real food ingredients from Tillamook, KIND Snacks, Dave’s Killer Bread and more.

Kids Fun Zone at Janss Marketplace: The Kids Fun Zone craft events meets the last Saturday of every month from 12-3 p.m. at Janss Marketplace held near Toys R Us.

Western Music Concert at McCrea Ranch Thousand Oaks: The Conejo Community Center/Outdoor Unit of the Conejo Recreation and Park District will be offering a Western Music Concert Featuring Eli Barsi.

Concert for the Cats–Support the Mountain Lions in the Santa Monica Mountains: Jazz, delicious desserts and fine wine are the winning combination for a delightful evening under the stars in Westlake Village to support the mountain lions and bobcats that roam the Santa Monica Mountains.


Flea Market at Ventura County Fairgrounds: The event features antiques, used and new merchandise sold by over 500 vendors, more than 5,000 buyers visit the Market each time it is held.

Newbury Park Library 25th Anniversary Celebration: The festivities will include games, contests, music, a time capsule dedication and a lot of fun.

18th Annual “The Wild Brunch” Fundraiser in Calabasas: The California Wildlife Center’s 18th Annual “The Wild Brunch” event is planned for Sunday, September 25th from 1-5 p.m. at Gull’s Way Estate, 26800 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu.

A Royal Book Signing Event by Local Authors: Crown Books presents “Keep Calm and Read On,” a royal book signing event featuring local authors Xina Marie Uhl, Sheli Ellsworth and Mira Reverente.
