I am the publisher and editor of Conejo Valley Happening.
My husband, David, and I moved to the Conejo Valley eight years ago because of its excellent schools, beautiful surroundings and low crime rate. It is here that we raise our two children who attend schools in the Las Virgenes District.
You may remember me as the editor of Agoura Hills Patch, Calabasas Patch, and for a short time, Moorpark Patch. What I love most about writing about the area is the strong community support and input. I always found a story to tell, whether I was out walking my dog or shopping at the market.
In 2013, Images of America: Agoura Hills, my non-fiction history book through Arcadia Publishing, was published. As an author, was an honor to speak and work with local residents, many who shared beloved stories and photos.
I was born and raised in New York, and I attended New York University.
Prior to becoming a full-time journalist, I was a publicist in the entertainment field for 10 years, having written press kits for such successful films as My Cousin Vinny, The Fugitive, The Karate Kid and Pacific Rim.
I am very excited to bring you everything happening in the Conejo Valley from profiles and events to dining, culture, entertainment and more.

As an independent journalist and editor, I have covered everything from small businesses to larger than life everyday heroes.
The pursuit of elusive subjects and tight deadlines gives me an adrenaline rush like no other, almost akin to a heavenly cup of coffee or a decadent bar of dark chocolate.
Outside the world of bylines and deadlines, I can be found hiking on local trails or concocting divine dishes in my kitchen.
